They don't get you use kayaks in the swimming area and if you use a utility trailer to haul your kayaks you have to park by the boat ramps. Other than that it's great.

The dock is setup a little high so if you are on a bass boat or smaller fishing boat thats sits low in the water, it's better to pull up on the beach than to the dock as your boat may drift under the dock and become damaged by the framing. It being a main lake location it may be a little difficult to get back to if the weather turns bad.
The nearby fishing pier is a popular spot for crappie and catfishing. The facilities associated with the park are great and always clean.
I Love going here. You have an option of a pier to fish from of from the banks with a rail or from the Sandy beach area. They are slacking on keeping the grass cut but other than that. It's Nice.
